Radiant Heating In The Home
If you've ever had radiant heating in your home,
you can't go back," vows Tom Schefer, manager of LeDuc & Dexter's newly formed
Hydronic Department. By going back, Schefer is referring to central or forced
air heating, which is found in most homes. "Radiant heating has no fans, there's

Around The House - Tip of The
Month
Caulking up to 30% of a home's heated air can be
lost through leaks and cracks. Check spaces where pipes, wires, cables or water
faucet's enter the house, and under windowsills.
Make sure you have adequate insulation in the
attic (recommended levels range from R-30 to R-38). 40% of the heat loss in
winter and gained in summer is through attics.
